TALLAHASEE CHAPTER PRESENTATION - Data Security Challenges in the All-Too-Public and Not-So-Private Sectors
Presented by Patrick Grey, Principal Security Strategist, Cisco
Join us on February 22nd at 9:00 AM to learn the latest advances in security and how to provide thorough and consistent security at all points in your network, including managed and unmanaged mobile devices.
Organizations have never been more focused on security. Meeting threats and managing compliance used to be two to four percent of IT budgets. Studies now show that cost has risen to 15 percent. One method to control both threats and costs is integrating security and networking. Examine the technologies that safeguard business and customer data, yet minimize overall management and costs.
Mr. Gray joined Cisco after serving as the director of X-Force Operations, Office of the Chief Technology Officer, Internet Security Systems, Inc. (ISS). Before that he served 20 years with the FBI. He has first-hand knowledge of the hacking community, its aims and methodologies, as they relentlessly attack government.
